Either we live in a controlled universe in which all outcomes are determined, or we live in a free universe in which dynamic relationships of give-and-take determine outcomes. But only in the free universe is love conceivable and possible. The Bible teaches that “God is love” and therefore God created a world governed by free will, with all the risks involved in doing so.

  • I’m enjoying this video entitled ‘Love, freedom, risk’ as I have enjoyed all the others that you’ve published.

With respect to this risk and no coercion, as applicable to the decisions we make with relationships and businesses and everything else, this risk is associated with freewill. Where does GOD’s perfect knowledge fit into the equation of risk, freewill and attaining the perfect will of GOD? Is it a risk if we choose GOD with the knowledge that HE is omniscient ? Is it still a risk? I’m almost to the end of watching this video and hoping that the answer may lie there. However, if it doesn’t, I have forged the question ahead.

  • This was the best explanation in the simplest words that I have ever heard of the Great Controversy and God is Love that I just fell even more in love with God! Thank you so much! This is giving me an easier way to share the Gospel. I’m not much of a tv watcher so it was providential that I turned 3ABN on this morning. God bless you all! And by the way, nice literature ministry you have. I will be sending a donation as soon as this -45 degree wind chill goes away! Blessings!
